Our firm is supporting the Town of Foster with its continued development of its pavement management program. The Town has made strides in the use of RhodeRestore funding from the State to bolster pavement projects. The result is the need to have a pavement system that will provide the Town the ability to understand current conditions and plan future projects. Tighe & Bond has been working closely with the DPW and Planning Departments on updating pavement histories and capital improvement plans.
The Town has recently discussed the need for conversion of gravel roads to pavement. Our pavement team is assisting the Town by identifying these roads within the GIS-based application and providing guidance on different processes. The use of specific sub consultants who specialize in processes like gravel road conversion allows our firm to support the Town in its endeavors.
