New Signalized Intersection Improves Corridor Safety
Our Transportation team designed and delivered a Local Public Agency project extending Lang Road to Longmeadow Road. The project addressed frequent traffic conflicts and safety concerns caused by vehicles turning left from Lang Road onto Route 1 and quickly merging toward Ocean Road. The new roadway provides a safer, signalized connection between Lang Road and Longmeadow Road, improving access for local businesses and reducing collision risk.
Our engineers prepared the required Engineering Study for NHDOT approval, including analysis of existing conditions, conceptual alternatives, stormwater management options, and geotechnical investigations, along with public outreach. The firm also provided preliminary and final roadway design and construction engineering services, supporting the City’s goal of creating a safer and more efficient transportation corridor.
