GIS Services Include New Stormwater Application
Our firm has assisted the Town of New Canaan with GIS services, including desktop-based and field applications to aid data collection and facilitate maintenance of Town-owned assets. Current services include GIS data development support for the Departments of Public Works (DPW), Engineering, Planning, and Assessing, as well as public and internal applications. Support for DPW and Engineering departments has included the development of ArcGIS Online applications for field data collection related to street signs and inspections, an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) dashboard, and desktop applications for sanitary, stormwater, wells and septic, and hydrants.
In addition to yearly GIS data and application support, our firm is working on a stormwater data cleanup and field data collection project, as well as an annual outfall sampling project in coordination with our engineers. Tighe & Bond continues to provide data hosting and maintenance, training, and technical support on an as-needed basis.
