Repairing a Crucial Atlantic Seawall

Tighe & Bond was retained by the Town of Jamestown to prepare an Alternatives Evaluation Report for stabilizing about 100 linear feet of an existing rubble stone seawall. Alternatives evaluated ranged from chinking to complete reconstruction.

The selected alternative included re-pointing the upper portion of the wall and using a combination of chinking and fast-setting underwater Speed Crete on the lower portion of the wall. A new concrete sidewalk was also constructed as part of this alternative.

Services Snapshot

Tighe & Bond prepared the permit plans for the RICRMC permit submission, prepared Plans and Specifications for bidding, and provided Construction Observation.
