Deerfield Academy’s D.S. Chen Health and Wellness Center is a 30,000 square-foot facility that includes a medical clinic, 16-bed infirmary, classroom space, meeting rooms, counseling offices, student mailboxes, student laundry, and shipping and receiving services. Designed by Architectural Resources Cambridge, it is expected to enable the school to address emotional health, the pace of school life, stress management, and nutrition. Tighe & Bond facilitated the demolition of the existing plant building, providing environmental consulting, site, and civil engineering services as well as landscape architecture services.
