Yale-New Haven Health and the city of West Haven partnered with Tighe & Bond to construct a new Regional Operations Center. The new building serves as an advanced warehouse for distributing medical supplies throughout Yale New Haven Health facilities. It is the first major capital project for Yale at the systems level, scaling across the entirety of YNHH, and funded by each of their member hospitals. Located at 600 Derby Avenue in West Haven, the center is a 140,000 square foot building staffed by 90-95 managers and staff, with half of those positions as newly created jobs.
Tighe & Bond provided site, civil and geotechnical engineering services as well as traffic engineering, environmental services, wetlands, permitting, and surveying for the landmark project.
