Creating a Showcase of Local Horticulture

Our landscape architects were commissioned by the Massachusetts Horticultural Society to develop a series of verdant gardens and open spaces along three parcels of the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

Intended as a showcase of local horticulture, the parcels support passive recreation and enjoyment, and the plantings were installed with substantial involvement from the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association.

The landscape has continued to evolve with the stewardship of the Greenway Conservancy and has become the site of artistic installations and innovative cultural programs, including Boston’s annual Design Biennial.
