Our team explored a town-owned property for the potential for siting of new bedrock groundwater wells. Because of the proximity to a surface water reservoir, our team performed analyses to determine the isotopic signature of the groundwater, along with that of the reservoir, to determine if the reservoir water would be induced as a result of the pumping of the new bedrock wells. To date, two wells have been installed, with plans for additional based on water quality testing.
