Water Storage Tank Rising in Dracut, MA
Our engineers conducted a technical site visit in Dracut, MA to observe the construction of the State Forest Water Storage Tank Replacement Project for the Dracut Water Supply District (DWSD). The contractor, Preload LLC, erected the wall panels of a 1 million gallon prestressed concrete water storage tank. There are 17 wall panels, and each panel is 55 feet tall and weighs more than 20 tons. This water storage tank will replace an existing buried concrete tank and once completed will improve water system hydraulics for DWSD.
