We are pleased to announce that two of our projects have been recognized with 2026 Engineering Excellence Awards by the Massachusetts chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC/MA).

The Lower Bemis Pond Dam Removal & Abbey Brook Restoration Project received a Silver Award in Engineering Excellence. As the first step in a multi-phase restoration of Abbey Brook in Chicopee, MA, this project removed an unneeded, high-risk dam to improve water quality and public safety, while creating new open spaces for residents.

Additionally, we were a part of the project team on the Wharf District Resiliency Plan, led by Arup, which received a Gold Award in Engineering Excellence. Our landscape architects were engaged to develop a bold vision for the public realm that establishes a recognizable identity and is responsive to both climate change and sea level rise.
