Marshall Puffer is a Project Manager and Team Leader in Tighe & Bond’s Building Services Business Line, with proven expertise in the structural engineering design and project management of large-scale public and private sector projects including commercial, educational, municipal, as well single and multi-family building structures, leading these projects from preliminary design through construction phase services. He is experienced in analyzing existing structures of various construction types and materials, providing existing condition reports with structural improvement recommendations, and code assessment studies. Marshall is based out of Tighe & Bond’s Orleans office, also serving as the office’s Location Manager.

Over the course of his more than 13 years of experience as a structural engineer, Marshall has gained expertise in providing coordination with architects and other disciplines utilizing the latest in Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology. He has in-depth knowledge in designing structures utilizing code based requirements and finite element analysis (FEA) software and has a particular interest and expertise in waterfront building structures providing structural designs that are resilient to the harsh elements of coastal regions.

Life Outside of Work

Outside of work, Marshall enjoys spending time with his wife and four young daughters going to the beach, hiking, spending time outdoors, and enjoying all that Cape Cod has to offer.
