Employees Reach New Milestones with PE and PLA Licenses

Our staff is continually taking on new challenges and learning opportunities as they advance their careers. One such milestone is passing rigorous licensure exams. We want to recognize several colleagues who have received their Professional Engineer or Landscape Architect licenses in 2021.

Will Kesler, PE – Land Use and Transportation Business Line

Will’s experience falls in the field of stormwater management and site planning. Spending a large portion of his time in the field as an on-site engineer, he works on a variety of projects including roadway assessments, stormwater management, construction administration, and sewer analysis.

 

Heather Doolittle, PE – Water Business Line

Heather focuses on water resource engineering projects. She has worked with clients on distribution system hydraulic modeling, water system master planning for water main, pump station, and storage tank upgrades, and water facilities capital planning. Her previous career as a geologist where she worked on site assessments, and groundwater and soil characterization allow Heather to bring unique experience and perspective to her current role as an engineer.

Samuel Taugher, PE – Water Business Line

Sam specializes in wastewater, water, and civil/site projects and began his career gaining experience on horizontal projects working on the design of sewers and water mains. As his career has progressed, he has branched out into vertical construction projects within wastewater and water treatment. He is currently working on upgrades to coastal community wastewater treatment and collection systems and water treatment plant upgrade projects, using a mix of his skills for design and construction management.

Emily Church, PE – Water Business Line

Emily specializes in water, wastewater, and civil/site projects. She has worked on a variety of projects over the years and has spent many hours in the field providing construction observation services. Her current work focuses on the design and construction administration of collection and distribution systems as well as pipe rehabilitation projects.

 

Gregory May, PE – Water Business Line

A member of our Water Business Line, Greg focuses on design and construction observation in water, stormwater, and wastewater projects. His core practices include designing and drafting water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and the separation of stormwater and wastewater systems. He has construction observation experience on pipeline installation, wastewater pump stations construction and rehabilitation, roadway reconstruction, and pipeline rehabilitation.

Douglas Bradshaw, PE – Land Use and Transportation Business Line

Doug specializes in transportation with an emphasis on roadway design and construction. He offers experience in a broad range of civil engineering including site development, ADA compliance, complete streets, small bridge and culvert projects, stormwater management, landfill design and construction, and utility design and construction.

 

Gary Hon, PLA – Landscape Architecture – Land Use and Transportation Business Line

Gary is a talented landscape designer with Halvorson | Tighe & Bond Studio who has applied his technical and graphic expertise on a variety of municipal, academic, and commercial projects. Using parametric and computational modeling software, he is quickly able to generate concepts and schemes to meet various design objectives. Gary has also been successful in interpreting geospatial data in GIS to develop site analyses and generate compelling diagrams that help to clarify and illustrate ideas.
