Demolition Underway at Hartford’s 150 Windsor Street
Demolition is underway at 150 Windsor Street in Hartford, marking an important step toward transforming the former data center into a new destination for learning, innovation, and community development.
We joined Mayor Arunan Arulampalam, the City of Hartford Economic Development Department, representatives from the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development, Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA), state and local representatives, American Environmental, and other project partners to celebrate this milestone.
Our environmental specialists are providing hazardous materials assessments, abatement and remediation design, demolition engineering, and demolition and air quality monitoring as redevelopment moves forward. Plans for the site include a hotel overlooking Dunkin’ Park, residential housing, and a proposed workforce innovation campus connecting local students with businesses and emerging technologies.
