2025 Stock Ownership Program (SOP) Promotions

We are excited to announce this year’s promotions into our firm’s Stock Ownership Program! In 2025, we promoted 14 new leaders into the program. Collectively, they have over 200 years of experience, and all of them have distinguished themselves since joining the firm.

The purpose of the SOP is to recognize those professionals who are exceptional performers, who add significant value to the firm in numerous areas, and who go “above and beyond” in advancing the firm’s goals and objectives. These individuals have demonstrated their commitment to quality service, a high level of expertise, and dedication to creating a positive work environment.

Briony Angus

Re-entering into the SOP program, Briony is a Vice President in the Land Use Business Line with over two decades of professional experience specializing in complex federal, state, and local permitting for waterfront/coastal, land development, and energy projects. Briony is an active member of the Environmental Business Council of New England (EBC) and New England Women in Energy and the Environment (NEWIEE).

Nicole Bourgeoise

Nicole is a Senior Project Accountant with expertise in billing processes and financial data management. She has played a key role in improving efficiency and accuracy through data cleanups and strengthening reporting, workflow, and data consistency. Nicole is a Certified Management Accountant who remains committed to professional growth through the PSMJ Bootcamp, BST User Group sessions, and her MBA studies. 

Collene Byrne

Collene is a Senior Project Manager in the Transportation Business Line, bringing nearly two decades of experience in traffic engineering, signal design, safety analysis, and transportation planning.  She has led key projects for municipal and state department of transportation clients. Beyond her project work, she is actively involved in the Women’s Transportation Seminar (WTS) Connecticut Chapter, where she serves on the Communications Committee.

Justin Curewitz

Justin is a Project Manager in the Transportation Business Line with expertise in traffic studies and design. He is a licensed professional engineer (PE) in Massachusetts and a nationally certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) and Road Safety Professional 1 (RSP1). Justin serves as Treasurer for the 2026 Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE) Northeastern District Annual Meeting and was a past president of the Southeastern New England section of ITE.

Mary Danielson

Mary is a Project Manager and Team Leader in the Water Business Line, where she has led multiple large, multi-disciplinary water treatment projects. She serves as the firm’s Asset Management – Vertical Condition Assessment Technical Specialist within the Utility Management Community of Practice. Outside of her project work, Mary is a frequent presenter with the New England Water Works Association (NEWWA) and recently co-authored an article in the December NEWWA Journal.

Eric Doremus

Eric Doremus is a Project Manager in our Land Use Business Line, specializing in multi-disciplinary site/civil engineering projects. He brings more than a decade of professional experience and serves as a team leader in our Portsmouth, New Hampshire office. Eric also supports Tighe & Bond’s quality management initiatives as a member of the Quality Management Committee and is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states across New England. 

Tom Duquette

Tom is the Accounting Department Manager, serving as a go-to resource for accounting operations through trainings, process enhancement, and cross-departmental support. He frequently collaborates with the firm’s leadership team and IT to improve reporting methods, tools, and software usage, including supporting implementation.

James Dyment

James is a Vice President in the Water Business Line with more than 25 years of experience managing all phases of complex water and wastewater projects.  He has played an integral role in developing relationships with clients across the Northeast and towards business development and strategic growth initiatives.

Tim Grace

Tim is a Senior Engineer and Team Leader in our Land Use Business Line with over two decades of professional experience.  He is an integral member of our site/civil group and project delivery team offering site design, permitting, and construction phase services. Tim is also a registered engineer, a Mass DEP certified soil evaluator, and an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).

John Harvey

John is a Principal Environmental Scientist in the Environment Business Line, a Team Leader for the Senior Technical Professionals group, and a Safety Representative. He is a Licensed Site Professional and serves as a technical expert on complex regulatory and technical issues within the firm’s site assessment and remediation practice. Outside of the firm, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Licensed Site Professional Association (LSPA) and was previously Chair of the Regulations Committee.

Kristopher Houle

Kris is a Senior Project Manager in the Water Business Line with 20 years of professional experience in water resources engineering and ecological restoration.  He has led and managed complex dam removal and restoration projects and has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s ecological restoration practice. Kris is a regular presenter at regional conferences on dam removal and nature-based solutions. 

Cassandra LaRochelle

Cassandra is a Project Manager in the Water Business Line with expertise in stormwater management and drinking water infrastructure projects. She serves as the firm’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) Technical Specialist in our Stormwater Community of Practice, and is a trusted advisor to many MS4 communities in Massachusetts. She is a frequent presenter and article author for professional organizations such as the New England Water Works Association (NEWWA), Massachusetts River Alliance, and the New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA). 

Jill Libby

Jill is a Senior Data Management Specialist in the Environment Business Line specializing in data management, processing, and visualization.  She is a Certified Data Management Specialist and serves as a Team Leader for the Data Management group and on the CAD Standards Committee. She is active within LSPA, EBC, Environmental Professionals’ Organization of Connecticut (EPOC), and the Society of Women Environmental Professionals (SWEP).

Scott Smith

As our Director of Safety & Health, Scott brings over 30 years of experience in environmental health and safety (EHS) program development, risk mitigation, and compliance. He holds a Doctor of Law and Policy in Occupational Safety and is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and OSHA Outreach Trainer. Scott is an active thought leader through publishing and presenting with industry organizations including the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), National Safety Council (NSC), and the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts (ACEC/MA).
