Kristopher (Kris) Houle is a Senior Project Manager at Tighe & Bond, responsible for leading a wide range of water resources and ecological restoration projects, including dam removal, culvert replacements, fish passage improvements, stormwater management, and coastal and freshwater wetland restoration. He brings nearly two decades of public and private sector experience to his role, giving him a direct understanding of many of our client’s needs and priorities.

Kris thrives in leading complex restoration projects in challenging settings and with diverse project teams. One of his strengths is building strategic partnerships to facilitate project advancement. He has proven successful in acquiring project funding through competitive grant processes and has a strong working knowledge of the environmental permitting process. Some of Kris’ noteworthy past accomplishments include developing new ecological restoration engineering programs at the state and federal levels and leading a dam removal practicum course at UMass Amherst.

Life Outside of Work

Outside of work, you can usually find Kris either in the woods or on the ocean. He enjoys mountain biking, running, boating, fishing, and spending time with his family.
