Kanzaki Specialty Papers
Our compliance team was engaged by Kanzaki Specialty Papers to provide oversight of their environmental management program. Our work included stormwater planning and management, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) planning and monitoring, Toxics Release Inventory (Form R) Reporting, Toxics Use Reduction (TUR) planning and management, air emissions monitoring and reporting, and aboveground storage tank inspections.
We also assisted with the design, permitting, construction, and start-up of a new wastewater pre-treatment system. Our work included pilot plant operations, preliminary system design, treatment chemical evaluations, site plan permitting, stormwater system design and construction observation, system start-up (including training of operators), and system permitting and compliance work.
PTI Industries
Our firm provided environmental compliance services to PTI Industries’ facilities in Enfield, Connecticut. Compliance projects at PTI have included wastewater engineering and permitting, new source review air emissions permitting, greenhouse gas and energy conservation reviews, spill planning and reporting, hazardous waste generator compliance, health and safety program development, CTDEEP and EPA regulatory audit support, Property Transfer Act support, and industrial hygiene testing.
As part of waste minimization efforts, our firm designed and permitted an on-site wastewater treatment system to reduce the volume of waste shipped off-site for disposal. This treatment system saves PTI over $100,000 in waste disposal fees on an annual basis.
Milton CAT
Our firm has provided Milton CAT with a variety of environmental, health and safety compliance services at 12 facilities in six states (Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont) to improve compliance and reduce costs.
Some of our specific services for Milton CAT include environmental inspections and audits, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, tank management plans, and emergency response plans. We also have provided air permitting, industrial hygiene surveys, hazardous waste management and permitting, wastewater permitting, spill remediation oversight and reporting, pollution prevention reporting, and Tier II reporting.
