Richard Canavan is a Principal Environmental Scientist with over 25 years of experience in environmental research, teaching, and consulting. His research projects have examined nutrients and water quality, including lakes in Connecticut and the Netherlands. As a consultant, he delineates wetlands, prepares permits, performs design reviews, and observes construction sites. He has provided environmental planning services for the development of water quality monitoring programs and watershed planning.

Life Outside of Work

Outside of work, Rick likes spending time with family, working on projects with his two children, and trail running.
