As the firm’s Design Manager, Chris Bone is advancing the firm’s use of technology in project delivery, standardizing quality and design, heading the project review program, and overseeing our Communities of Practice. He serves as principal and project manager on a variety of water and wastewater projects. He specializes in treatment facility upgrades, nutrient removal, biosolids management, and thermal drying. His experience at Tighe & Bond includes all aspects of project implementation, including planning, permitting, design, cost estimating, and construction phase services.

Chris has overseen projects ranging from the smallest decentralized systems to the Detroit, MI Biosolids Dryer Facility, which is the largest facility of its type at the largest single-site treatment plant in the United States. He excels at challenging upgrades to existing facilities and is focused on finding innovative and cost-effective solutions that meet our clients’ goals while maintaining facility operations.

Life Outside of Work

Outside of work, Chris can usually be found spending time with his family and friends or coaching a soccer team. He loves traveling, hiking, and fishing. He’s a terrible but avid golfer, and a die-hard Notre Dame football fan. Go Irish!
