Forbush Mill Bridge Ribbon Cutting
Our team joined Congresswoman Lori Trahan, State Representative Kate Hogan, Senator Robyn Kennedy, and officials from the Town of Bolton at the town common to celebrate the completion of our Forbush Mill Bridge Project, championing federal investment in local infrastructure projects.
Supported by a FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant, this project replaced two aging HDPE pipe culverts with a modern precast three-sided bridge structure, improving local drainage, roadway durability, and safety. The work also included restoring the stream that feeds into the Still River, stabilizing its banks and nearby wetlands, and replacing the roadway surface and guardrails near the town transfer station and Nashoba Regional High School corridor.
Eric Ohanian shared remarks at the event, as well as Congresswoman Trahan, Senator Kennedy, Town Administrator Maria Sobalvarro, and Bolton Department of Public Works Director Randy Heglin. This event highlights the continued importance of addressing aging infrastructure while improving roadway safety and ecological conditions across the Commonwealth. The project also marks the next step in the Town’s ongoing culvert asset management plan, which our team helped support.
