Ribbon-cutting ceremony for the reopening of Hinckley’s Pond – Herring River Headwaters Preserve.

Vice President John Bologna, PE joined our project partners recently at opening ceremonies for two Cape Cod projects, including an ecological restoration & infrastructure upgrade project in for an open space in Harwich, and an affordable housing development which will bring new housing options to the Town of Orleans.

The new All Persons Trail at Hinckley’s Pond.

We celebrated the reopening of the Hinckley’s Pond – Herring River Headwaters Preserve with Harwich Conservation Trust and other project partners following ecological restoration work. This project rewilded two retired cranberry bogs on either side of the pond located at the headwaters of the Herring River estuary into wetland habitat, as well as restoring pond shore habitat and creating a connection from the preserve from the Cape Cod Trail. A one-mile All Persons Trail was also created to improve accessible recreational opportunities at the site.

Opening ceremony for 107 Main Street.

A new affordable housing project at 107 Main Street in Orleans marks an important milestone for Cape Cod housing, offering 14 new housing units for the community. We joined the Town of Orleans and other partners at a ribbon cutting for the project. This development offers a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, with 70% of the units designated for households with at least one member who lives and/or works in Orleans, or has children enrolled in the Orleans or Nauset school districts.
