Child Fountain Restoration Receives Preservation Massachusetts Award

We are proud to announce that our work on the Child Fountain Restoration in Boston Public Garden has received a Frederick Law Olmsted Award from Preservation Massachusetts. The award recognizes projects that protect and improve historic landscapes across the Commonwealth.

Our design team collaborated with project partners to renovate the historic fountain and sculptures at at the iconic Arlington Street entrance of the garden. The project reactivated the fountains that had been out of service for decades, added additional seating to sit and enjoy the fountain and artwork, and enhanced the visitor experience while respecting the historic character of the garden.

Congratulations to the full project team, including Friends of the Public Garden, the City of Boston, Fleming Brothers, Daedalus Conservation, Bryant Associates, Dan Euser Waterarchitecture, LeMessurier, Simpson Gumpertz & Heger, and GEI Consultants.
