Town of Sandwich Receives Grant Funding for Harborwalk Project

The Town of Sandwich, MA, recently received $1.8 million through the Commonwealth’s Seaport Economic Council Grant Program for the first phase of the Harborwalk project at Sandwich Marina.
Plans include an elevated boardwalk, accessible pedestrian connections, and shoreline and landscaping improvements to the marina, creating a welcoming community amenity for residents and visitors. The project will improve connections to local businesses and the waterfront while enhancing pedestrian safety and coastal resilience. We are providing civil engineering and landscape architecture services to advance the Town’s vision for this public space.
Thank you to our project partners and supporters, including Town staff, the Harbormaster’s Office, the Sandwich Select Board, the state legislative delegation, the Healey-Driscoll administration, and the Seaport Economic Council, for their roles in moving this project forward.
