Renovating Deerfield Academy’s Historic Dining Hall
We partnered with ARC/Architectural Resources Cambridge to support the renovation and addition of Deerfield Academy’s historic dining hall. Major additions on the north and south sides expanded the dining facility’s square footage, increasing seating capacity, and upgraded the kitchen and servery.
Our scope included site/civil engineering and Conservation Commission permitting services, which included site drainage, stormwater management, water service, fire protection, sanitary sewer, erosion and sediment controls, roadway improvements, and utility coordination.
Now complete, this new facility accommodates the growing student population and provides a vibrant space for students to gather for sit-down meals while fostering community and connectivity.
