Matthew Romano is a Principal Electrical Engineer at Tighe & Bond with 19 years of engineering experience. He specializes in the design of power, lighting, HVAC, fire and intrusion detection, CCTV, public address, and telephone systems. He has worked on a broad array of projects focused on water resources, wastewater treatment, industrial waste, solid waste, residential and electrical demolition.  His work also includes arc flash, coordination and short circuit studies, capital improvement plans, resource management, and electrical alternative analyses.

Matthew is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers as well as the National Fire Protection Agency. He is licensed as a professional engineer in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, and New York.

Life Outside of Work

Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children. They spend their winters skiing, skating and playing in the snow.  In the summer months Matthew and his family enjoy camping, traveling and swimming.
