Dan Holmes is a Senior Project Manager in Tighe & Bond’s Transportation Business Line, with over 18 years of experience in the planning, design, and construction of public and private infrastructure projects. His work includes roadway realignment, pavement rehabilitation, storm drainage, and culvert and bridge replacements. He also has extensive experience with utility projects, including sewer separation and expansion, drinking water systems, and pump station improvements.
As a Team Leader, Dan mentors staff and supports their professional development, helping to shape the next generation of engineering talent. He is known for his collaborative leadership and commitment to delivering high-quality projects. In recognition of his professional accomplishments and community contributions, he was named to BusinessWest’s “40 Under 40” Class of 2020.
Dan is active in the industry through his involvement with the American Public Works Association (APWA) and the Tri-County Highway Superintendents Association. For the past eight years he has served on the Suffield, CT Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) and is currently the Chairman, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to public service.
Life Outside of Work
Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending quality time with his family, whether they are working on home projects together or making new memories while traveling. As an avid outdoorsman, Dan finds fulfillment in activities like hunting, fishing, and hiking, which allows him to unwind and stay connected to nature.
