With almost two decades of experience, Amanda Houle has extensive expertise in wetland delineation, natural resource assessments, environmental permitting and compliance, wetland restoration and mitigation, and invasive species management. She applies her in-depth knowledge of municipal, state, and federal environmental regulations to permit a broad range of projects for municipal, utility, commercial, and industrial clients, including municipal infrastructure improvements, resource area restoration, electric and gas utility infrastructure, and private development.

She specializes in inland and coastal wetland resource area delineations, botanical surveys, wildlife habitat assessments, vernal pool evaluations, and invasive species surveys and management plans. Her skills include project management, communication, public presentations, team coordination, multi-agency permitting, and regulatory analysis. Amanda also coordinates and oversees construction projects for environmental compliance.

Amanda serves as the Location Leader of Tighe & Bond’s Cape Cod office and is a Team Leader for the eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire wetlands and ecological services group. She is also an active member of the Society of Wetland Scientists, the Association of Massachusetts Wetland Scientists, the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions, and the Society of Women Environmental Professionals.

Life Outside Work

Outside of work, Amanda spends as much time outdoors as possible and enjoys being by the ocean, going for a hike in the woods, visiting the mountains, or working in her garden.
