Manresa Wilds: From Power Plant to Waterfront Park

Rendering by SCAPE/Bjarke Ingels Group

Our team is providing civil engineering, traffic engineering coastal engineering, wastewater engineering and permitting support services for the planning and design of Manresa Wilds, a 1.75 mile waterfront park in Norwalk, CT. This project advances a vision for reuse of a decommissioned power plant to create an exciting, publicly accessible park that has planned programming and natural spaces for people of all ages, as well as revived ecosystems. Our team looks forward to working with Manresa Island Corp, SCAPE Landscape Architects, and the entire design team towards their goal of reconnecting people with nature and the waterfront along the Long Island Sound shoreline for the first time in nearly 75 years.
