Grand Opening of Greenwich’s Central Middle School
Our team joined the Town of Greenwich, Greenwich Public Schools, the Central Middle School Building Committee, and project partners SLAM Collaborative and Consulting Engineering Services to celebrate the ribbon cutting for the newly constructed 125,000-square-foot, two-story Central Middle School.
As part of the SLAM-led design team, we provided site/civil, geotechnical, traffic, and construction administration services to support the new school and campus improvements. Designed with connection and collaboration in mind, the school features grade-level academic neighborhoods, interior courtyards that bring natural light into lower areas of the building, and centrally located spaces for the media center, arts, and community gatherings, as well as a dedicated bus loop, increased capacity for drop-off queues and parking, and pedestrian safety improvements.
