Designing a Modernized, Efficient Workspace for Vibram
Our Building Services team worked with Bonham Douglas Architects and Vibram Corporation, a global leader in footwear manufacturing, to develop a modernized office space within Vibram’s existing North American headquarters. The project includes the renovation of 10,000 SF across two floors of the existing 33,000 SF facility, creating a more functional layout aligned with energy performance goals.
Our team designed building systems to support a high-performance environment, incorporating air-source heat pumps, energy recovery ventilation, and dedicated systems for restrooms and heating for the new entry. Electrical upgrades included new lighting, power, fire alarm, and technology systems integrated with the existing distribution, along with daylight and occupancy controls and metering to support sustainability goals. Plumbing design included hot water generation and distribution, sanitary systems, roof drainage, and condensate management. Now under construction, the renovation will support a more connected and energy-efficient workplace.
