Gregory Coren, PE

Project Manager

“One of my favorite aspects of my work is the satisfaction of seeing a project materialize during construction, and having an appreciation for the effort it takes to get to that point. Many at Tighe & Bond share this sentiment, making the process of seeing a project to fruition even more enjoyable.”

Greg is a graduate from the University of Rhode Island (B.S.) and has honed his technical skills on complex and large scale geotechnical/waterfront projects. His design experience includes, but is not limited to, the analysis and design of dams, earth retaining systems, support of excavation and dewatering systems, marine structures, steel and timber structures, and retrofitting existing structures. Greg also has extensive construction observation and field experience associated with general earthwork, dam rehabilitation and inspection, heavy marine/waterfront development, geotechnical explorations, topographic and bathymetric surveying, and environmental sampling and monitoring.

Life Outside of Work

When not working, Greg enjoys a wide variety of interests. These include hiking and spending time outdoors with his wife and son, tackling the latest home renovation project, and learning about the rich history of Rhode Island (his home state). Greg also loves boating, cooking (he is a trained chef), and visiting local breweries.
