Darleen Buttrick, PE

Vice President

“Communication is vital to the success of any project – and while hard discussions are inevitable, I always believe that a project should be completed with friendship, collaboration, mutual respect, and a bit of humor. The most successful projects are the ones that contain these key ingredients.”

Darleen Buttrick is a project manager and process design engineer specializing in water treatment and water resource engineering projects. This includes: water treatment plant expansions and upgrades, chemical feed system design and improvement projects, pump station design and retrofit projects, water storage tank renovations, and water facilities capital planning. She has managed numerous water related projects for some of our largest water utility clients.

Business West recently recognized Darleen as a 2016 “40 Under Forty” leader.

Life Outside of Work

Whether at home, at the beach, or at the lake, outside of work Darleen enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters. Her favorites include hiking, swimming, biking, and rowing in the Glen L sculling skiff that her husband hand made for her. Darleen also enjoys her time co-leading a Girl Scout troop in Easthampton, and reporting on rain, hail, snow, drought conditions, and hazardous weather conditions as a NWS SKYWARN Storm Spotter and volunteer for the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow Network.
