Traffic & Parking Made Easy

The construction of the new 147,000 square foot Yale University Health Services building also included a 323-space supporting parking garage, and connections to the Yale University Police Station. Mack Scoggin Merrill Elam, an award-winning architecture firm, designed the unique building features and parking garage connection.

A Connected System

Tighe & Bond provided traffic engineering and parking consulting services in connection with the new parking garage. This included floor layouts and design, as well as specification and contract administration for the access and revenue control system that was tied into the campus-wide Parking Access & Revenue Control Systems (PARCS). The parking garage portion of the project was initiated with a complicated design requirement to provide shared use parking garage for Health Services, Yale Security, and the University Police Department.

Services Snapshot

Our services for the parking garage included traffic engineering and parking consultation. We also worked closely with Mack Scoggin Merrill Elam to facilitate project design and construction through the City of New Haven approval process.
