Mike Schrader’s career has spanned planning, design, and construction of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure. He leads our utility rate-making practice and has helped numerous communities develop realistic and affordable revenue streams based on detailed analysis of data. Results are shown in a clear and compelling fashion, and he has been consistently successful in achieving rate increases for clients, creating a path for more sustainable infrastructure.

He is a skilled public speaker able to build consensus with the public and stakeholder groups by explaining complex issues in a clear and easy-to-understand fashion. His goal is to understand his client’s challenges and opportunities and develop creative solutions using a collaborative approach.

Life Outside of Work

Mike is a member of his town’s Finance Committee, and a Parks and Recreation Committee tasked with making wholesale improvements to playgrounds and athletic facilities at the town’s three largest parks. Mike also coaches basketball and flag football for the Special Olympics.
